What is stress management? The term stress management is a combination of two concepts. Stress is the concept of anything that has an effect on the pattern or behavior of a person, either good or bad. It may also be either tangible like items or gadgets which contribute to the alleviation of work and effort, or it may be intangible like concepts and emotions brought about by events and personal preferences.
Management is the process of properly identifying and effectively handling elements in the organizational framework of anything. The management may be done by acquiring more people to maintain the structure for you, or it may be done in the micro level of the self. Management in this context is the ability of an individual to properly maintain system functionality of the self, integrating mind and body.
Stress management therefore is the proper identification of the elements of stress referred to as stressors and being able to effectively handle them and control these stressors without having any adverse effect.
Purpose
What is stress management’s purpose? The creation of the concept of stress management began to be realized with the increased studies on human behavior as technological advancements and civilizations rapidly progressed to modernization. More concepts of applied daily living practices and the increased contending responsibilities due to the increase of these technological facilities have also increased the burden of responsibilities that each individual has to meet to properly fit in a modern society.
With the heightened variation of stress added to the main social stressors like social and cultural events of basic living has called for the study of being able to identify these new stressors and understand their effect on human thinking and rationality.
Implementation
What is stress management’s way of administration? Stress management procedures may be done by the individual to the self as a therapeutic method, or may be garnered from institutions which specialize in stress management procedures.

What is stress management for different folks? Different occupations of people develop different stress patterns and would not require the same set of stress management interventions. For example, a student would have different factors contributing to stress as that of an office worker, or even to a couple undergoing domestic trouble perhaps. Stress management is deeper than just the normal identification. These stressors may be effectively addressed to in stress management institutions.
Final Expected Outcome
What is stress management’s expected outcome? The expected outcome of stress management is not the eradication of stressors as these are always going to be around. The main objective of stress management is to have an effective protocol to be able to organize the identified stressors and know how these may be incorporated in the daily living without disrupting the other obligations of an individual.
